i wont give a full answer sorry too long…

but remember when answering 1)state,2)quote,3)explain quote..

      or whatever suits you..

      example answer:

Elizabeth Bishop is well known for her skill to

catch detail (eye for detail). She gives vivid and livid images in

      her poems.

She takes ordinary things and tries to comprehend it

both externally and internally. this is strongly evident

      in her poem 'The Fish'..

      (quotes):

      'like a big peony'….(red flower)-colour….etc…

      'five old pieces of fish-line'…

….fish had been caught and re-caught. this time he did not

fight back so he must be tired ang had given up hope…

she's also a very famos poet of childhood.

in 'sestina' we get very sad depressing images.

child drawing pictue of the man and house..

the man could be her father who she longs for and

for security in the 'rigid house' which the poet didin't have….etc…

link poem with poet if possible…

someting like that… hope that helps in some way…..
