ive always been ineterested in being able to be become a gard or something alog those lines nd crime scene investigation would be something also along that line! :D i looked it up nd before you say “well its nothing like csi tv show”, i know that its completely different because ive researched it and stuff but theres a problem! :( i can only do crime scene investigation as a diploma in DBS, dublin. but id rather do a bachelor of arts in it! Would anyone know where i’d be able to become a csi but through a bacher of arts? thaks a million! :-) btw i said rebel girl too cuz uor always giving brilliant asnwers!! thnx

      thanks for the compliment!

I don’t think you can do a BA in it – any course would be science based, which is B.Sc. Forensics is science based anyway

I’ve found the following courses to do with forensic science, but I’d research it further to make sure you can go on and become a CSI.

Biosciences and Bioforensics in Carlow Institute of Technology – level 8

DNA and Forensic Science in Tallaght Institute of Technology – level 8

Forensic Investigation and Analysis in Sligo Institute of Technology – level 8

Science – DNA & Forensic in Tallaght Institute of Technology – level 7

Science – Pharmaceutical & Forensic Analysis in Limerick Instititue of Technology – level 8

Have a look at those courses and see if they would suit you

you can’t be a crime scene investigator in Ireland, the gardai deal with crimes. But you could take the forensics couse in DIT but thats heavily science based and you’re likely to go on to become a water analyst…exciting….
